The overall direction on talent was to get them polished. By utilizing a handful of perfecting techniques, the look achieved was the 'best version of yourself' presentation that always performs well under the scrutiny of high definition film.
In the opposite direction, the talent playing the over worked and sleep deprived director needed a vastly different appearance. The look overall was tired and disheveled. It had to properly communicate that our talent hadn't been well-rested in quite some time.
